There are several grocery/green-grocery shops in Methoni, which sell fresh produce as well as general household items. Shops open from 8.00 am until about 13.00 hours, then re-open in the evenings until 8.00 pm or later. Opening times vary, some stay open later than others. Wednesday is early closing though some shops stay open.
The post office and banks only open in the morning, closing at around 13.30 hours.
