Background to the Trigono-Lamda Groves

Welcome to trigonogroves.com, the website for the Trigono-Lamda Groves. The groves are situated near Methoni on the Peloponnese in Greece and although the website was set up to enable us to share our work, it has grown to include information and comment on the Methoni area, the wider Messinia and Peloponnese development, and some pages on Greece culture, design and places to visit.

From Ancient times there has been an idea that to be "Greek" does not necessarily to have been born in Greece, but to have a certain mentality. This may seem a strange concept to some, but to those who feel a strong affinity with Greece it is a happy idea. Enjoy your visit to the site.

The future challenge!

The challenge now is to balance the activities of preservation of the Wildlife at the Trigono Groves and making a sufficient income to cover the costs. We have two main aims for 2010:

1. To sell the high quality olive oil from Lamda in the UK, if the cost of transport is not prohibitive.

2. To make an income through world-wide online sales of cards, home and office gifts, accessories and casual clothing decorated with Trigono-Lamda Designs. This enterprise does not damage the wildlife at the Groves and helps to promote awareness of the importance of wildlife to the planet, not just to Greece.
